Here is a photo of my my latest offspring. I hope you like it as much as I do. This is a 16" X 20" oil painting titled "Geranium Party". It is available in several print sizes. you can also order cards. Click here if you would like to order one of these floral lovelies.
I'm Dianna Kilgore and I have been painting for 47 years. My favorite method of working is a modified traditional technique. I often under-paint with acrylics then paint layers of oils over the acrylics. I use many layers of glazes to achieve wet effects in water or glass and that inner glow that is reminiscent of the work of the old masters. Some subjects are done wet in wet but most of my work is wet layers over dry paint. I Teach in Knoxville and Maryville TN. Contact me at (865)236-4959

Every time I see your latest painting, I think there is no way you could top this. Yet, with every new piece I am pleasantly surprised at the skills you possess. Great job as usual. Thanks for posting your work.
Dianne, this is absolutely gorgeous. I might just order myself a print! Love you. Cora
Your work is beautiful. I loved the bear cubs in the tree. Your waterfall was very realistic.
